Introduce yourself, please.
Hi, let me introduce myself, I’m Kylie, also known as Softee in CS:O/CS1.6. More about myself - currently I’m serving my National Service. I've been playing Counter-Strike since i was 10 and played competitive from 2009 till now. I've played for teams like EnduranceZone, Playmakers, Sixmoves and now LiteLab. My role in LiteLab is as an attacker but I also can be a supporter for my teammates.
How did you get started with CS:O? How long have you been playing CS:O?
I started to play CSO since the 1st competition, "License2Play" at Singapore Expo and I realized that there's a lot of competition in CS:O than CS1.6 so I decided to switch. I have been playing CS:O for nearly 2 years already.
Compare CS:O with 1.6, what are the difference between these 2?
CS:O has more cool weapons to choose from comparing with Counter-Strike 1.6! Deathmatch mode in CS:O is just awesome.
How often do you practice? Describe a normal day in your life.
Before I started National Service, I usually practice for 5 – 10 hours every day. During my training, I usually spend around 2 hours practicing my firepower before I find myself a clan battle to play. Now since I’m serving my National Service, I will still spend 3hours playing CS:O.
What is your favorite weapon and why?
My favourite weapon has to be the AK-47. It deals insane damage on headshot.
Do you have any favorite team? If so, why?
Do you think you will ever "age-out" of CS:O?
I love this game and I will never be too old for this!
What is the one tip that you would give to the community on improving their CS skills and for those taking part in the next qualifiers?
If you want to improve on your CS skills, you should find out what kind of playing style suits you. Either as an insane fragger or as a supporter in your team. To learn, watch more demo from good teams playing such as Fnatic, SK-Gaming, Natus Vincere and etc. And of course, practice more on deathmatch and more clan battles. For those who are playing in the next qualifier good luck to all of you. My heart on VAINCRE for the next qualifier!
Any last shoutout to the CS:O community?
Team LiteLab would like to thank all of you who have been cheering for us, voting for us. We will continue to do well for OAC and WCG this year! Last but not least, I would specially like to thanks IAHGames and IAH staffs - JBJBJBJBJB, CAPTAINCANNON, KITXY and whoever i miss out for doing a job for all the events they have been hosting. GOOD JOB POWAHPUFFS!
